We make things fast so you can take your time to savor it all.

Since 1998, we’ve been serving our original, made-from-scratch recipes from our Black Mountain and Asheville kitchens. Our menu offers a blend of our favorites, filled with fresh ingredients, chef-driven flavors, and lots of love. We believe gourmet food should be enjoyed in the comfort of home. That’s why we offer delicious, home-crafted meals that are ready when you are, easy to pick-up and share with family and friends. And we keep it simple. Choose one of our tasty lunch options, grab something ready-to-go from our fridge, or check out our monthly menu to see what’s for dinner tonight.

Formerly known as Red Radish to Go in Black Mountain and Asheville, Little Sprout Carryout is the newest addition to a legacy of our family-owned catering companies.

Marcus Duarte, owner of Little Sprout Carryout and The Red Radish Catering Company, is one of three brothers who have been cooking, feeding, and serving people in the Carolinas and Tennessee for more than 20 years. (If you’re traveling outside the Blue Ridge Mountains, visit the brothers’ Red Radish locations in Charlotte and Kernervsille, North Carolina.)

Whether you are stopping in to our Asheville carryout shop on your lunch hour, or bringing home dinner from our Black Mountain location, our shared purpose is to provide all of our customers with the kind of service we would want you to serve us - friendly, caring, and nourishing.

We make things fast so you can take your time.

Our Mission

For an exceptional menu, you need an exceptional team.

At Little Sprout Carryout, our team is as important to us as your family is to you. When owner Marcus Duarte hires a new member, we are 100% confident that they have our best interest at heart, but more importantly, they have your best interest at heart. Our belief is that if they aren’t smiling, you aren’t smiling, so we make sure to treat all of our employees with respect and dignity.

When it comes to menu planning and quality control, Little Sprout is in excellent hands. Experienced chef and caterer, Katie Fiore, personally sources our natural high-end ingredients and works with local vendors to create seasonal dishes that are hearty and filling. Trained at the New England Culinary Institute, her humble style of gourmet cooking makes regulars out of just about everyone who tries one of our ready-to-go meals.

Little Sprout Carryout takes great care in selecting employees who enhance our culture. The devotion of our team and their commitment to upholding our expectations and the needs of our customers has led to consistent growth since our opening in May 1998. As a result, work at Little Sprout Carryout is fun, challenging, and rewarding.
